A memorial service will be held at South Ridge school on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and a luncheon will follow the service. A private burial will take place at a later date

My first encounter with Zach was when he was a 4th grader in McGregor playing in a Saturday morning tournament. I was officiating and Zach scored the first 12 points by himself. Most kids would have kept scoring in that situation, but not Zach. Zach got in the lane effortlessly the rest of the game and preceded to make sure every one of his teammates had the opportunity to score. Zach showed that day what he would later become; a selfless teammate, an incredible competitor, and someone who would constantly bring joy to others. Brent, Luanne, and family: There are no words I can say to you that is gonna to take away the pain of losing a child. You are forever changed. Cling to those memories of Zack. We hope you find comfort in your family and friends.
