I had the absolute pleasure of being Al’s nurse for about a year. I always enjoyed his company and my heart ALWAYS melted when I’d pop in his room at night before I left to tell him I was leaving and for him to be so tired and just mumble, “okay sweetie. Okay hunny.” What a beautiful soul to be brought to the heavens. He will be missed by many! Wish I could make it to say one last goodbye.
