Shirley Mae Sundeen passed away at the age of 94 peacefully in her sleep Saturday, April 8th, 2023 in Duluth, MN.
She was born on March 11,1929 in Duluth. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart. She would always talk about her great granddaughters and how proud she was of them. She would always call them her Darlings. She spent quality time with her daughter and son-in-law during her final days.
Shirley never met a stranger, she loved dancing, and driving her car, “The Foxy Lady”. Her smile was contagious and warm along with her having an outgoing personality. She was always at her happiest when she was with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Adolph and Alma Sundeen. She is survived by her daughter and son, Diane (Glenn) Schulte of Duluth and Stanley Swapinski of Cloquet. Her granddaughter Stephanie (Stanley) Hinnerichs of Indian Trail, NC as well as three other grandchildren and her great granddaughters Megan and Morgan Hinnerichs of Indian Trail, NC.
