In Remembrance

Scott Allan Kuhlman, 55, of Askov, MN, died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. He went on to meet the Lord peacefully with three of his greatest loves, Brenda, Kitty, and LeAnn; and his faithful 4 legged companions, Bonnie and Clyde, at his side.

Scott was born May 13, 1966 in Sandstone, MN to Fran and Albert Kuhlman. Throughout his life he had many ventures, including construction, heavy machinery, siding and roofing, shrink-wrapping, and trucking. All of which he did passionately until his next brainstorm came along.

In 2007, he became owner of his first semi truck. It was eventually replaced by his big, beautiful, yellow Pete, which was pretty much a full time job just adding chrome and important do-dad’s to make it cool!

In 2019, he put a driver in his truck and pursued his real passion of living at the lake. He turned his campsite into the perfect spot for entertaining family and friends. There was always plenty of food, usually consisting of his famous BBQ, a full assortment of cold beverages, and a guaranteed good time!

He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Warren (Gus) and Arnold, and step-son Cody.

He is lovingly survived by his soul mate, Brenda Hansen; sister Kitty Jorgensen; brother Mike (Ruthie) Jorgensen; Children: Christopher (Nikki) Novy, Walker (Shawna) Kuhlman, Jeffery Kuhlman, Shelby (Colton) Voigt; step-children Tim Pirila and Kaitlyn (Zac) Johnson; four grandchildren; and several close relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Askov Community Center on Saturday, February 5^th at 2:30pm, followed by a truck parade and luncheon. Beginning at 5pm, “A Scott Style Celebration”.
