Funeral service will be 12:00 pm, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 4430 McCulloch, Duluth. There will be a visitation one hour prior to service, military honors accorded by the Duluth Honor Guard.
Robert S Malwick, 96, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Chris Jensen Health Center in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born December 30, 1920 to Arthur and Aagot (Peterson) Malwick in Duluth, Minnesota.
Bob graduated from Duluth Central High School. He served in the US Army in WWII as a radio operator. In 1946 he married Isabella Ross; he worked as a plasterer and a contractor for 38 years. Upon retirement he worked another 18 years as a DTA driver. His community service included Past Master Lake Superior Lodge, Past Patron Eastern Star, Past Assoc. Guardian Job’s Daughters, and member of AAD Temple Shrine.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; wife Isabella; brother Arthur.
He is survived by two daughters, Roberta (Richard) Berg, Diane (Ken) Jeffries; grandchildren Jeremy (Julie) Berg, Allison (Bret) Larson, Erinn (Michael) Rasmusson, Matthew Jeffries, Melissa (Ryan) Smolarek; seven great-grandchildren.
