He has requested that there be no funeral services, as he was ever so grateful for the celebration of life while he was living.

Mary, Nicole, Jessic, and John, I remember what a great and hands-on papa was Bob! Often bringing you girls to our house and organizing sleep overs and activities at your house. He knew how to help kids have fun!! He really fought a good fight against his health problems. Bless his dear, kind soul!

Bob will always be remembered as a thoughtful, generous, and gentle spirit. While I enjoyed the times as a classmate, my brothers and sisters fondly recall him as their teacher whose support elevated them to scientific endeavors. His biggest blessing clearly was his family. Mary and his children gifted him with care and affection. He made an impact - just by being Bob. May the birds sing for him in the mornings.

Mary and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob's obituary was a wonderful tribute and description of his life and attributes. The world has lost a great individual and I will always remember him as a friend and mentor, plus his unsurpassed love for nature and wildlife . He was always very willing to share his vast knowledge of the outdoors and wildlife with others. Bob was a great teacher, a kind-hearted, generous individual and very dedicated to his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
