Robert James Anderson, 91, of Duluth, MN passed away peacefully on May 2, 2020.
Bob and his wife Nancy had 67 great years of marriage together. Their 7 children: Bob (Doreen), Tim (Beth), Theresa (Dean), Tom, Dave (Anita), JoAnne (Jaye) and Jim (Liz), sister Mardell (Dennis), 20 grand children and 9 great children will all miss him dearly.
Bob lived his entire life in Duluth. He graduated from Duluth Central in 1947 and served in the 1st Marine Division, B Company in the Korean War. Bob was a career Minnesota Power Line-foreman, a Sunday School teacher, a Boy Scout leader and hockey association leader. He helped build the Lakeview Ski Chalet, served in the Lutheran and Covenant churches and the Union Gospel Mission, Duluth for decades. Bob was a leader and volunteer for any project to, “make things better and to share Christ’s love”.
Bob’s greatest joys were spending time with the family at the cabin and doing projects. Bob loved what Jesus Christ did for us so that we all may have eternal life.
