In Remembrance

Robert George Gould Sr., 74, of Duluth, passed away peacefully at home June 24, 2017.

Bob was born in Duluth April 26, 1943 to George and Ann Gould. He graduated from Central High School in 1961. Served six years in the Army National Guard. Bob married Kathy Clancy on February 21, 1981, and they raised two sons. He was a pressman and retired from Stewart-Taylor in 2006.

One of the happiest days in Bob’s life was the day his granddaughter ‘Hadley’ was born. Bob was an avid hunter for grouse, pheasant, deer, and enjoyed fishing. He was very proud of his sons and how they have carried on with what he taught them. Bob also enjoyed woodworking and making maple syrup. Some of his best times were hunting, fishing, and time spent at the hunting shack with all his boys.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, and an infant brother.

Bob is survived by; wife Kathy; sons Bob Jr. (Hannah), Paul (Elsa); grandchildren, Hadley, Adri, Natalie and Joseph; brothers Richard (Diane), William (Jeanne); 4-legged kids Emma, Morgan.

Bob wanted his family to know how proud of you he was and how much he loved you.

A special ‘thank you’ to Dr. Friday and Dr. Dornfeld and the Essentia Hospice team who took such good care of Bob.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3-7:00 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Blue Max on Fish Lake, 6139 Lavaque Rd. Services by Affordable Cremation & Burial.
