Military Funeral Honors will be performed at Minnesota Veterans Cemetery Duluth at 2 pm on Monday July 26, 2021. Friends and family are invited to gather at Lester Park in Duluth from 4-8 pm.
Ralph (Buzz) W. Nelson, 85, died July2,2021 in Duluth, MN. He was born November 16, 1935 to Ralph and Dorothy Nelson in Winona, MN. He grew up on a farm in Kellogg, MN and eventually lived on several different farms in WI while raising his family. Buzz served as a Navy corpsman near National City, CA from 1955-1959.
Buzz is survived by: loving wife of 63 years Aura; daughters Jana (Robert) Overman, Laurie Keplinger, Doreen (Jeff) Muhlenbeck; sons Sterling (Sue) Nelson, Jack (Patty) Nelson, Ed Nelson;
brother Bruce (Ramona) Nelson, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorothy Marston.
