Patrick passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born on January 5, 1941 to Al and Astrid Sowl in Warren, MN. He grew up in Duluth.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy and sons Matt and Dean, brother Fred and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Al & Astrid, sisters: Beverly, Susie, Shari, brothers; Mike, Geoffrey, and Ethan.
Patrick was a realtor with Adolphson Realty and East/West Realty for many years. Before that he worked in engineering at American Hoist and Reach All.
Pat’s greatest loves were singing and painting. He sang with the Duluth Harbor Masters for more than 10 years and was lead singer with the quartet “The Miller Creek Four”. A perfect Saturday night was spent singing karaoke. Pat was an award winning watercolorist but loved painting with oils also. He was a member of the Duluth Art Institute and the Minnesota Watercolor Society.
A memorial service will be held in the summer.
