“Patrick Robert Miller (66) passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022. Pat was born in Minneapolis, MN on May 20th, 1956. He grew up in Bloomington, MN where he married his high school sweetheart, Sharon. They had two daughters and moved the family to Cloquet, MN in 1986 where he’s lived ever since. Pat loved a conversation and worked successfully in sales his entire career.
One of Pat’s great passions was the Minnesota Vikings. He longed for that Super Bowl victory! He also greatly enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to sit outside and enjoy the weather often socializing with family and friends or alone. His favorite vacation spot was “the cabin” on Rainy Lake in Canada. Summer activities like fishing, sitting on the beach playing cards and horseshoes, and boating were amongst his favorite activities. He was an avid learner and soaked up non-fiction books, documentaries, etc regularly.
Pat is survived by the love of his life, and wife of 42 years, Sharon, daughters, Melissa Miller of Duluth, MN and Jenny(Tom) Swanson of Woodbury, MN, granddaughters, Isabella and Alison Kreminski and Quinn Clark, and grandsons, Grant and Parker Swanson. He is also survived by his sister, Sue Lex of Minneapolis and brother, Matt (Donna) Miller of Appleton, WI. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew “Bud” Miller and Elizabeth “Betty” Miller. We also must not forget to mention extended family in both the U.S. and Canada.
