Marvin V Cummings
July 29, 1942 - December 29, 2019
Marvin Cummings, 77, of South Range passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, in Hospice at St. Lukes. He was born July 29, 1942 to Virgil and Lucille (Houchin) Cummings in Superior, WI.
Marvin served honorably in the Navy after high school, and worked many jobs before his career with Chicago Northwestern Railroad, retiring after 25 years.
‘Charmin Marvin’ was a strong willed, hard working man. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening. He had a great sense of humor and loved his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ginny Booker; two brothers, Lester Cummings, Gerald Martin; nephew, Brian Booker; sister in law, Karen.
Marvin is survived by his children; Marty (Vicky) Cummings, Ricky (Linda) Cummings, Marsy (Jay) Koca, Scott Cummings, MaryPat (Randy) Fehrenbacher; brother, Dave (Pam) Martin; sister, Sharon (John) Armogost; grandchildren, Alicia, Sean, Shaylene, Jenice, Michaelee, Jordan, Krista, Scarlet, and Lane; extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s ICU and Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
