In Remembrance

Mary Ann Stephen, 87 of Floodwood, MN died peacefully on November 2, 2021 in Duluth. 

Mary Ann is proceeded in death by her husband Richard, (Dick Stephen) and her son Richard (Rick) Stephen
Survived by sister Betty,  daughters Cherie (Stephen) Jarvi, Cynthia Stephen, Grandchildren Jason Ion, (Kristin Ion) Ashley Johnson. Great grandchildren, Brooke Johnson and Alexa Ion, 
many nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family and many friends, including her face book people! She loved you all!

Mary Ann was born and raised in Duluth, MN. She grew up on Lake Street with 3 sisters and 2 brothers. 

Mary Ann worked several different jobs. In the mid-70’s she worked at The Floodwood Liquor Store. 1989 Fred Tanner bought the bar & “Ma” continued to work until retiring in 1999. (she would sure have some interesting stories) 

Anyone who knew Mary Ann was touched by her kindness and humor. She put everyone’s needs before her own with pure grace. She truly was a peacemaker. 

There will be a Celebration of Life held in her honor at the Mainline on Friday, November 19th at 4 PM.
