Margaret Erickson

Margaret Erickson, 99, passed away peacefully Monday, January 28, 2019 at Edgewood Vista with her family by her side. Margaret was born October 31, 1919 to Fred and Jenny Alfons.
Margaret graduated from Denfeld High School in 1938, and married Allen Erickson in 1940. She was a lifetime member of Elim Lutheran Church and was an active member of her church circle. She was also a lifetime member of Eastern Star. Allen’s job took them to Moorhead Mn in the 1970’s where she worked as a teachers aide in the Moorhead Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, husband Allen, beloved son Gary (2018) brother Gerald Alfons, and son in law Ron Kolquist.
Margaret will be sadly missed by; daughters Jeanne Kolquist, Linda (Joe) Smith, and daughter in law Karin Erickson; grandchildren, Ron (Audrey) Kolquist, Steve (Jodi) Kolquist, Kelli Kolquist Hanratty (Jeff), Brian (Andrea) Erickson, Kyle (Kelly) Erickson, and Kristy Carter; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Sara, Ben, Tyler, Ryan, Chase and Gabriella; sisters in law, Bonnie Erickson, Shirley Erickson, many nieces and nephews; her wonderful companion of 26 years, Dell Hartwick, and his children David Hartwick (Jeanne), Mary McDonald (Steve) daughter in law Adele Hartwick, as well as their children and grandchildren.
A special ‘Thank You’ to Essentia Hospice and Edgewood Vista for their loving care.
