A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Park Hill Cemetery, 2500 Vermillion Road, Duluth, MN in the Good Shepherd Division.

Lloyd William Moore, 92, entered into eternal rest after a short illness on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s, Duluth, MN.
He was born December 28, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to LLoyd W. Moore, Sr. and Hazel Myrhe Moore. He graduated from Central High School in Duluth in 1950. Lloyd retired from Duluth ISD #709 after 23 years in 1993.
Lloyd never married, but he considered his nieces and nephew as his children. He dearly loved his parents, sister an her children and always asked about “his kids.”
In 2020 after a hospitalization, he left his home to be cared for by Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living and later, memory care at Heritage Haven.
Lloyd was a character that spoke with a lovely deep voice and had a sweet smile, oftentimes one hour after cussing someone out. Despite his occasional raw temper, he was so loved by many and he will be missed.
He was a major gun enthusiast and was proud of his collection. Lloyd hunted with his friends until 2023/2024. His second love was woodworking and loved building things.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, one brother Dale at age 3 months, and niece Cindy Bevill of Ward AR.
He is survived by his sister Sharon Carr, nephew Wayne Pearson (wife Brenda), niece Laurie Gent, all front Cabot, AR; niece Casey McInturff (Logan) of Pensacola, Fl; nine great-great nephews and nieces; close friends and helpers Glenn and Sue Johnson, Kane Tewes/Mary Anderson and daughter Parker.
A very special thank you goes to Glenn and Sue Johnson, Heritage Haven, and to the ER of Essentia St. Mary’s. You will never be forgotten.
