LeRoy Pietila
Per his wishes no funeral will be held but a celebration of life will be planned for the Spring near the time of his birthday. All are welcome to attend.
LeRoy William Pietila passed from this earth on November 15th, 2021 at his home with his eldest daughter by his side. LeRoy passed after being diagnosed with an aggressive recurrence of pancreatic cancer and acute leukemia. A lifelong Master Mason – he spent his last few days surrounded by friends and family, joyfully barking orders with the same vigor he had throughout his life.
LeRoy is preceded in death by his father Bill Pietila, his mother – Signe Pietila (Saukko), his first wife Judy Johnson/Pietila, and his second wife Vicky Bong/Wilson/Pietila.
He is survived by his sisters Judy (Bill) Hoppe and Doreen Berry, his daughters – Laurie (Rod) McMann, Shelly Pietila, and Valerie Ferdinand, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Teela, Tanya, Tiley, Matthew, Myanna, William, Dallas, Cale, Adrianna, Raina, Iylah, and Abra.
