Larry passed away after a long battle with cancer Tuesday, September 10th at 10:30 AM. He passed peacefully in his sleep while his favorite cat, Louis, gave him love and comfort.
Born and raised in Holyoke, MN Larry joined the Navy right out of high school. He raised through the ranks to MM2 Machinist Mate 2nd Class Petty Officer and was discharged honorably. After returning home he worked several jobs, but spent 33 years with Link Brothers Ford, then briefly at Jazz Body & Paint and Craigin Machine.
He met Fern shortly after returning home, quickly realizing she was the one for him. He felt very lucky to have had met her, they were married and built a life together, having two children and two grandchildren. He was devastated upon her passing in 2015.
He was an avid hunter with an affinity for gun shows, car shows, NASCAR, Harley’s, and his cat Louis. He had many friends with his longest being an 80-year friendship with Stanley Longshore.
Larry is survived by his beloved family: Sister Jackie (Jim) Arney, Son Dean (Jessica) Lull, Daughter Lisa Lull, Grandsons Kameron (Katie) Young and Karsen (Jamie) Young, and Great-Granson Nikolai Young.
