In Remembrance

Katherine (Kat) Ann (Briesemaster) Davis was born May 26, 1972 and passed away unexpectedly at home on April 27, 2022. Kat graduated from East High School in 1990 and went on to get her nursing assistant degree. Kat was a caregiver at heart, that was her passion. She cared for her son, her father and husband through cancer and her mother through health struggles. She worked at Mount Royal Pines III for approximately 20 years and enjoyed all the residents she worked with. Her current employment was at the Econolodge and made friends with all her colleagues. Wherever she worked she made it part of her family.

She married Archie Davis in 1997. Kat and Archie volunteered their time and service to the various community events in Duluth. Kat’s love was boundless. She loved fiercely and unconditionally. She also loved the simplest things in life, a sunny day, Jazzy, her beloved pitbull and her flip-flops.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother, Jean Briesemaster; her father Gerald Briesemaster; and her nephew, Steven Briesemaster.

She is survived by her husband, Archie Davis; her brother William (Bill) Briesemaster; sisters, Lisa and Tammy; her sons, Matthew (Katie) Walsh, Jacob Walsh and Jordan Davis; her mother in law, Barbara Jean Gray; her brothers in law, her stepchildren and many grandchildren. She had her best friends, Natalie Stanley and Nancy Cody.
