On Wednesday May 12, John “Ole” Olson, passed away at age 68 in St. Mary’s Hospital, due to complications of liver failure.
John was the son of Ernest and Idelle Olson of Superior, WI. He was born and raised in Superior, WI. He graduated from Superior High School
and enlisted in the Army where he served as a helicopter pilot. He worked for BNSF railroad and various truck driving companies until retirement.
John is survived by his two sons, Michael and Joshua Olson of Duluth, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Kora.
John enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Retro.
A celebration of life event will be held June 6th at Strikers Bar of Superior, WI. The family will hold a private memorial service.
