John 'Jack' Jackson

John ‘Jack’ F. Jackson, 92, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Chris Jensen Health Center in Duluth. He was born November 15, 1926 to Rudolph and Helen (Erickson) Jackson in Duluth.
Jack served in the US Army at the end of WWII, and returned home to a career with US Steel and the mining industry. He retired at an early age, enjoyed much time at his cabin on Stone Lake, and following sports. Jack was a kind, gentle man, honest as the day is long, he will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jack is survived by his cousins Beverly (James) Houle, and Dennis (Skye) Erickson.
Private services will be held, a special ‘Thank You’ to the staff at Chris Jensen for their excellent care of Jack over the years.
