In Remembrance

Jesse George James 65 of Bemidji Minnesota, formerly of Butte Montana passed away peacefully at home with his best friend at his side on December 25th 2021. 

Jesse was born to Dennis Dale James and Ruth Ruby (Laughton) James on August 10, 1956 in Crosby Minnesota. He was the 5th of 7 children. Jesse had a passion and was very talented in art. He could draw for hours. Jesse attended Blaine, East Jr High and Butte High Schools. 

Jesse was a “Teddy Bear” in the eyes of those who loved him. The type of person who would give the clothes off his back although he had little in life. He loved people for who they were and not what they had. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis (Bud) James and Ruth James, his oldest brother Albert Dale James and Brother-in-Law George Chelini, His surviving relatives are sister Sally Chelini, Anne (Fred) DeJohn of Butte. Sister Bonnie James and brother Richard James of Great Falls and Brother John (Amber) James of Helena, all residing in Montana. 

He is also survived by his extended family of Epic Hearts, Tracie Knudtson who was by his side to the end. His extended family Amanda,Liz,Tawny,Misty and grandchildren Elias and Nalina and friend Floyd Kehana  all of Bemidji Minnesota. 

Special thanks to Bemidji hospital and hospice, also Affordable Cremation of Duluth and Epic Hearts. Family services will be held in Montana in the spring.
