Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Sonlife Community Church, 417 Alcohol Rd, Wrenshall, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service, memorials are preferred to Sonlife Community Church.
Jerome “Jerry” P. Timmer, 82, passed away at Solvay Hospice House, Monday, January 15, 2018 in Duluth. He was born April 29, 1935 to Henry and Pauline (Byer) Timmer in Kent, Minnesota.
Jerry enjoyed working for Douglas County Highway Department for several years. He also had a passion for farming and loved living in the country. Jerry was a man of faith with a gentle and patient manner. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by; his parents, his brother’s Anthony and Lawrence, his sister Irene and nephews Monte and Eugene and niece Eileen.
Jerry is survived by; his wife of 52 years, Ann Timmer; three children, Mark (Tracy) Timmer, Gayle (Ron) Taylor, Joyce (Duane) Christiansen; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; sisters Leona and Bernice and several nieces and nephews.
