Jeffrey L. Proffit, 49, of Cloquet passed away in his home Dec. 6, 2019. Jeff was born Aug. 29, 1970 in Superior, Wisconsin to Barry and Bonnie (Merrell) Proffit.
Jeff loved his family more than life itself, especially his 3 granddaughters. He said his family was the only thing he did right.
Jeff loved watching football and hockey, he was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. You always knew when the Steelers were playing on the television because the walls would rattle when they made a touchdown. Playing ‘Magic the Gathering’ with his best friend Stephen was something Jeff loved. You always knew when he was around, as you could hear him a mile away. Jeff will be remembered as a caring, devoted, loving and funny husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and friend. He was a “give the shirt off of his back” kind of guy, he will be missed by so many.
Jeff is preceded in death by; his mother; paternal grandparents and maternal Grandpa; Aunt and Uncle.
He is survived by; his wife Karen of 31 years; 4 children Aubrey (James) Vargas, Aerial Mandoli, Cora (Doug) Seguin, Brock Proffit; 3 Grandchildren Yasminea, Serenity, Ava; father Barry, brother Jon (Kathy) Proffit, Angela Proffit, April Capps; Grandma Jeanette; numerous extended family and friends, and his special 4 legged friend Roxy.
