A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Jeff’s memory on November 19, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Moose Lodge #1302, located at 415 3rd Avenue, Proctor, MN., 55810.

Jeffrey Alan Joki, age 64, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on November 4, 2023, in Duluth. He was born on November 23, 1958, in Duluth, to Edwin and Fern Joki.

Jeff received his education at Proctor High School, graduating in 1977. He had a fulfilling career as a truck driver until an unfortunate accident forced him into an early retirement. Undeterred by this setback, he dedicated his efforts to the Michelinas factory before officially retiring. 

Known for his intellect, sarcasm, humor, and work ethic, Jeff was a man of great character and found true joy in the company of his loved ones. He had a great love for music, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

Jeff is survived by his former wife, Michelle (Neil) Joki and their children, James (Jen) Joki and Tiffany (Matt) Paulson, and grandchildren, Aubrianna Greensky, Jackson Joki, and Waylon Joki. He is also survived by his brother, John (Patricia) Joki, niece and nephew, Brandon and Tricia Joki, brother-in-laws, Kelvin (Virginia) Maki, Keith Maki, and Ken (Belinda) Maki, step-son, Josh Velasco, as well as aunts, uncles, countless cousins, friends, and his lifelong best buddies Craig and Al.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Joki, his parents, Edwin and Fern Joki, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Maki, and his step-son, Kelvin Maki Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Jeff’s memory on November 19, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Moose Lodge #1302, located at 415 3rd Avenue, Proctor, MN., 55810. 

Jeff will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his gentle soul find eternal peace and solace.
