Janice A Hiller
August 1, 1947 - January 29, 2022
Memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Peace of Christ Lutheran Church, 5007 Maple Grove Rd, Hermantown, MN. Visitation at 9am, coffee and bars will be provided after the service.
Janice (Jan) A. Hiller was born Aug, 1947 in Duluth Minnesota to Norbert B. Gerads and Lurene (Schellin) Gerads.
She later married Wallace V. Hiller on Oct. 26 1968 and had three children, Daniel Hiller, Darla Hiller Kellner (Cambridge MN), and Dawn Hiller (Duluth MN). She also had two grandchildren, Matthew Hiller Nelson (Chaska, MN) and Sabrina Hiller (St. Paul, MN). Jan is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Hiller and parents Norbert Gerads, Lurene and Lorenz Gades, brothers Ervin (Sharon) Gerads, Arnold (Gladys) Gerads, and sister Elaine Spikberg. She is survived by Daniel, Darla, Dawn , Matthew, Sabrina, Sister Carol Skare (Cay Christan), Brother-in-law Marvin Spikberg, and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Central High and began work as a nurses aide at the Surf and Sand Nursing home. She later worked as a teachers aide for the Hermantown Headstart and finally retired from St Lukes Hospice and Home Care.
As a member of the Peace in Christ Lutheran Church, her service will be held there. Please see above for service information.
