Celebration of Life will be held on August 23 2022. at Eastridge Community Church, 3727 West Arrowhead Road, Duluth, MN, Gathering at 11AM, services at 12PM. Private Internment to be held later at Little Falls State Veterans Cemetery, in Little Falls, MN.
James John Revering, Born December 10, 1948, Died August 16, 2022.
Jim is preceded in death his parents David and Mary Revering, Brother Greg Revering, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles. Surviving family members are Eileen (Stephen) Schmidt, Cathy (Loren) Campbell, Paulette Durrah, Dorothy (Ronald) Leary, JoAnn Revering, grandson Paul Lane. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a few remaining aunts.
Jim passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours on August 16th, while in the care of Hilltop Health Care in Duluth, MN, where he had been living since August 2020. Jim was born in Alexandria MN, and in lived in various cities throughout MN for most of his life. He lived in Dagget CA for approximately 12 years until he moved back to MN in 2019. Jim enlisted in the Navy after he got out of high school, from Aug 01, 1968 to Nov 19, 1970. He was in the service for 3yrs, during that time he was stationed overseas in Vietnam. Jim received various metals during his time in the service. After discharge Jim returned home to Minneapolis, MN. Jim spent most of his life as a Taxi Cab Driver, where he met his future wife Jan. They were married for roughly 10 yrs, but sadly the marriage ended in a divorce.
