Jacklyn Elnora Treviranus, 81, of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 6th,
2024, at Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living. Jacky was born in Duluth, MN on Nov. 28th, 1942, to
Theodore and Marcella Olson. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1960 and worked
as a secretary and tax preparer. In 1962, she married her one true love, Tom, on March 17th,
becoming a military wife which led to a life well-traveled. Together they had three children, all born
in Japan and Okinawa, where Tom was stationed with the US Air Force. After returning to the states,
Jacky eventually began a career with the US Postal Service, retiring after 20 years. She was the first
woman to be employed by the Monticello, IA Post Office. Jacky’s true loves were God, coffee,
crosswords, Elvis Presley, watching NASCAR and reality shows, surfing the internet, dining out, and
most of all, her family!

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas Treviranus, Sr.; sister Barbara Olson;
granddaughter Stefanie Cox. Jacky is survived by her son Kelly Treviranus (Sandy); daughters Tina
Cox (Keith) and Kristi Rudolph (Glen); grandchildren Kory Treviranus (Jenny), Katlyn Treviranus,
Madelyn “Skye” Rudolph, Bryce Rudolph and Alyssa Holder; sister Susan Lantz; many nieces,
nephews, cousins and extended family.

Per Jacky’s wishes, there will be no services held. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the
Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later
