Jerry ‘Moe’ Moen, 69, died peacefully at home surrounded by family Wednesday, July 1, 2020. He was born July 21, 1950 to Earl and Marge (McLain) Moen in Duluth, MN.
Jerry graduated from Duluth Central High School, and enlisted in the US Coast Guard. He served in Spain, and returned to Duluth to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Jerry paved every road in the Northland. He had a passion for classic cars and never turned down a freshly baked treat. Jerry was a loving husband, a great father and friend, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by; his parents.
Jerry is survived by; loving wife Lynn; children Kelly (Bryan) Sturdy, Willie (Jason) Bennett, Mick (Lindsay) Moen, Christine Misgen, Cassie Misgen; mother of his children, Theresa Moen; grandchildren Tyler Moen, Zander Sturdy, Kaden Luloff, Elliot Moen; siblings Ron (Luann) Moen, Denny (Patty) Moen; brother-in-law Andy Cimini.
A special ‘Thank You’ to Donna with St. Luke’s Hospice and the Mayo Clinic for their excellent care for Jerry.
