Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, February 15 at St. Rafael’s Catholic Church, 5779 Seville Rd, Duluth, MN. There will be a visitation starting at 10:00 am.
George T. Gregorich, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, with a paintbrush in his hand. He was born July 28, 1920 to Thomas and Mary (Rikel) Gregorich in Duluth, MN.
George entered the Civilian Conservation Corps, and enlisted in the US Army to serve in WWII. He later worked for American Steel, Seagrams Distiller, and Phillips. George enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, trout fishing, golfing, and bowling.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter in law Sopia; brothers Tom, Al, Julian, Matt.
George is survived by; loving wife of 72 years, Lavone; seven children, Steve (Brenda), Timothy (Gail), Kathy, Daniel, Mary, Thomas, George (Van); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
