A service will be held at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI on March 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and gifts monetary donations are preferred.
Frederick Lee Schroeder, 67, of Superior, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday March 8, 2017 in Superior. He was born July 22, 1949 to Frederick and Lorraine (Feld) Schroeder in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Fred served in the US Army in Vietnam after high school. After the war he joined the US Army reserves, then the 148th Fighter Wing, serving 23 years. Fred was a die hard Packer fan, and had a patriotic spirit. He was strong willed, caring and generous, and loved his family dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Fred is survived by; loving wife Melissa; six children, Frederick Lee Jr. (Kelly), Matthew (Beth), Shane (Lydia), Ryan, Tony, Anna; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Lexi, Elle; siblings Ronald (Tori), Robert (Darlene), Jeannie (Gary) Albrecht, Diane (Frank) Welcher, and stepmother Twilite; extended family and many friends.
