I only knew Ed from Rendezvous but, I felt he was a friend and I always looked forward to seeing him there. We had great fun with hawk and knife throws, and he was always positive and provided lots of encouragement for those of us who were often searching for knives in the weeds. He'll be missed in camp. But, When I heard of his illness a while back at Folle, I spoke with him about the future. I am more than hopeful that on THAT DAY, we will rise together. "I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

I'm so sorry for your loss of Ed. The short camps I spent with him and his wife and son were blessed. Prayers for you all during this time.

With love and memories forever. Time to shoot the bow and throw the hawk in heaven, keep practicing up there, one day we shall meet again for the ultimate challenge. Down the road my friend. Hugs, prayers and warm wishes to your family for many wonderful memories and the strength to always remember the wonderful times.
