Dianne Olson
June 29, 1943 - January 9, 2021
A memorial service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the ASPCA would make her very happy.
Dianne M. Olson, 77, died on Saturday January 9th 2021 after a short battle with cancer. She was a life long resident of Two Harbors, MN. An avid bowler you could find her on any Monday or Wednesday afternoon at the bowling alley. She was secretary of the league for many years. She was also a long time member of the Women of the Moose, helping out most weekends with the kitchen staff for dinners or any event that was going on. She also loved spending time at the cabin at Thomas Lake. A wonderful person who if she was your friend you were a friend for life.
She was preceded in death by; her husband Thomas, brother Grant, sisters Sandra and Luanne.
Dianne is survived by her sons Gary{ Betsy} Olson and Duane{Gayle} Olson of Two Harbors. Granddaughters Ashley{Duane}Valure, Kristy Olson and Amanda Olson. 5 great grandchildren: Makayla and Braelynn Valure, Jameson McGinley and Olivia and Jasen Smith; Siblings Jeff Running of Kingsland, TX, Michael and James Running of Trinity,TX, Sisters Barbara Cooper of Trinity, TX and Linda Saaristo of Silver Bay, MN. And many nieces and nephews.
