Dennis Walkowiak
September 7, 1942 - October 20, 2020
Dennis M. Walkowiak, 78, after a long battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, passed away October 20, 2020 at home in Duluth.
Denny was born September 7, 1942 to Martin J. Walkowiak and Florence D. (Zywicki) Walkowiak. He graduated from Denfeld High School and Dunwoody College of Technology.
He married Kathleen (Soderberg) Hayes on April 11, 1995.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Jacqueline (Tim) Carlos, son Jeffrey and Kathy’s son Bret (Rebecca) Hayes. Sisters Carol (David) Lundmark, Diane Walkowiak and brothers Gerald (Annette) Walkowiak and David Walkowiak. Also, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Oneota Cemetery, at Denny’s request there will be no funeral.
