Dennis DJ Guerndt
October 26, 1950 - June 3, 2019

Dennis, “DJ” Guerndt, 68, passed away quietly in his sleep at St. Luke’s Hospice in Duluth. He was born October 26, 1950 to Edward and Audrey (Washburn) Guerndt in Hartford, Wisconsin.
‘DJ’ graduated from West Bend High School and served two terms in the US Air Force, and in the 148th ANG here in Duluth. He worked at Superwood for 34 years until their closure in 2012.
He was an athletic guy, he enjoyed playing softball, woodworking, watching sports with family and going to the cabin. DJ was a quiet man with a strong presence, and loved his family deeply. He will be sorely missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Edward.
DJ is survived by; wife of 43 years, LeeAnn; twin sons Rick (Karen), and Danny; grandchildren Nathan and Ellen; his mother Audrey; and two sisters and four brothers.
Private services will be held. The Guerndt family wishes to thank St Lukes Hospice for their care.
