Debra Renee (Lian) Eider, 61, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday May 31, 2019 after a courageous 4+ year battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born and raised in Duluth, MN. Debbie married Dean Eider in 1976. Together they raised 3 children and owned/operated the Main Restaurant downtown Duluth and later worked at the Gopher in West Duluth.
Deb loved spending time with friends and family. She adored her grandchildren and was always looking forward to her next trip with them. Deb was tenacious, energetic, hard working and a generous woman who loved shopping, trips to the malt shop and her dog Peekaboo. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Eider of 30 years; parents, Arnold and Lorraine Lian; siblings: Gerri Beiring, Dale Lian and Bob Lian.
Deb is survived by her daughter Stacey (Kevin) Casterline, sons Jake (Beth) Eider, Cory (Judy) Eider; four grandchildren, Kassidy, Koen, Henrik and Emmett; brother Ron Lian; and many extended family and friends.
