Bruce Lang, 72, of Saginaw, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022.

Bruce was born on June 20, 1950, and raised in Crown Point, New York. He graduated from Crown Point High School in 1968. After graduation Bruce enlisted in the Air Force, which brought him to the Minnesota National Guard – 148th Fighter Wing base in Duluth, Minnesota. There he met his wife Kathy, who worked on the base as a secretary. They were married in 1974. Bruce remained working at the 148th Air National Guard base until he retired as a Master Sergeant in 1999.

Bruce enjoyed many outdoor activities with his family over the years, including snowmobiling, gardening, boating, camping, and taking road trips to upstate New York with his family every summer to visit his mom, dad, and brothers. He also loved animals and had several beloved dogs and cats throughout the years, and he enjoyed the many deer who flocked to his back yard for the corn he put out for them daily.

Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Gordon; mother, Hilda “Helen” Lang; and beloved wife Kathy. Survived by brothers Paul (Yvonne) Lang of Corinth, New York, and Glenn (Bonnie) Lang of Crown Point, New York; daughter Deanna Lang of Woodbury, Minnesota; son Ryan Lang and his wife Amanda of Saginaw, Minnesota; grandchildren Cleo and Kayla Koonce (19), Madison Lang (17), and Lucas Lang (14).

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Solvay House in Duluth for the compassion and dignity they provided for our Dad while he was in their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce’s name to Duluth Animal Allies. A private family service is being held at a later date.
