Bruce Delevan MacDonald, 71, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Hermantown, Minnesota. He was born August 20, 1946 to Harry and Jesse (Freeman) MacDonald in Ithaca, New York.
Bruce lived a life full of family, friends and careers which kept him constantly on the move. From a childhood in upstate New York and the Phillipines, to college at Cornell University, to marriage to Anne which brought them to the Midwest, East Coast, Pacific Northwest and eventually back to the Midwest. Bruce found humor and an appreciation for nature where ever he went. He will be remembered for his love of mountains, birds, west highland white terriers, MGAs, fireplaces, the Pacific NW, single malt scotch and most especially his family.
He is preceded in death by; his parents, Jessie Freeman MacDonald and Harry Alexander MacDonald.
Bruce is survived by; wife Anne Lehlbach MacDonald; daughter Sarah (Scott) Mikesell, grandsons Nathan & Ian; son Kenneth (Jamylee) MacDonald; brother Alan MacDonald; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
