Boyd Kay Christian, age 88, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Proctor MN, Born on August 25, 1936. Boyd spent his life mastering the art of hard work and dedication, traits that were evident in both his professional and personal life.
Boyd’s career was marked by his skilled hands and strong work ethic. He was a certified welder, construction worker, and iron worker. Not only did he contribute significantly to Superior Steel, but he also embraced the life of a hobby farmer. Even after retiring, Boyd contributed to work for the City of Duluth, showing his indefatigable spirit.
A family man at heart, Boyd cherished the moments spent fishing and working on cars with his sons and grandchildren. His legacy continues through his wife, Carol Skare; son, Brian (Jule) Christian; stepdaughters Pam (Shawn) Skare ,and Jennifer Nelson ;along with 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three sisters. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, eight sisters, and one son.
