Bill Lyle Palusky
December 12, 1944 - October 10, 2026
Bill Lyle Palusky, 81, of Duluth, MN passed away on October 10, 2026 after a long illness. He was born on December 12, 1944 in Duluth to Mabel (Delwo) and Louis Rex Palusky.
Bill was a teacher for 30+ years for Duluth Public Schools. He enjoyed music and was lead guitarist in the local band Bobby Clark And The Rhythm Knights in the early 1960s. He loved fishing for bass with his family, friends, and grandsons and was always busy with remodeling and carpentry projects.
Bill is survived by his daughter Dawn (Chris) Durfee, son Paul (Jennifer); grandsons Christian, Ethan (Brooke), Noah, Connor, and Morgan; and granddaughter Emma. He has two great-grandsons Tage and Dox. He is also survived by his brothers Bob and Allen (Butch), and several extended family members.
He was preceded in death by Sherryl, his loving wife of fifty-two years, and brothers Graham, Gene, and Don.
The family would like to thank the following people for their loving care: all of the staff and nurses of Diamond Willow Proctor and Aspirus Hospice, especially Ryan and Maureen.
