I was looking through the obituary section of the Duluth News-Tribune when I noted Bert's obituary. It set off several memories of him. I well remember Bert from my days working at WWJC radio in 1984-85. I first met him when he won a prize, and I personally delivered it to him. I later remember him from when he sang at a music event in Cloquet, either in 1985 or 1988. I always liked him. I was not aware that Susan had also passed. May God bless their memory.
