A Memorial Service will be held, 4 pm, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Billings Park, 15 Billings Drive Superior, Wi. Food and refreshments following service.
Barbara Jean Thiry, 90, of Superior, Wi., passed away June 30, 2020 after battling pancreatic cancer. She was born in Duluth, Mn. on September 6, 1929 to Alfred and Esther (Rose) Palmer.
Barbara found enjoyment gardening, crafting, and volunteering in her community. She was a generous, strong willed, full blooded German.
She was preceded in death by; husband Clifford Thiry; her parents Alfred and Esther; sons Ken and Gary; siblings Leonard, William “Duke”, Thomas, Carol and Eleanor.
Barbara is survived by; her children Ronald (Sandy) Thiry, Roger (LuAnn) Thiry, Mike (Kim) Thiry, Lori (Barry) Angel; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sibling Marian Greco; numerous extended family and friends, including her friends at Gateway Tower.
