Ardelle M. Powell, died Saturday February 28, 2015 at Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth. She was born December 12, 1933 to Anton and Elsie (Ottelien) Kolbeck.
Ardelle worked 57 years as a waitress. Sometimes holding down two to three jobs at one time. She enjoyed her career and looked forward to serving her customers every day. The patrons loved her as a waitress because she would always have a funny line or joke to tell.
Ardelle (Ardie) was a devoted mother and grandmother who is greatly loved. She enjoyed family time to include playing cards and Yahtzee. She also had a strong passion for playing BINGO. She would spend many nights or weekends with family and friends, playing the game she loved. We will hold her in our hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lavern and Jerome Kolbeck.
Ardelle is survived by her daughter Kim (Roland) Schaefbauer, son Kevin (Denise) Powell; grandchildren Ryan Brown, Ashley Rudd (Aaron Madison), Sean Powell; three great-grandchildren Cadence, James, Aiden, sister Jeraine (William) Best; brothers Chuck (Carmela) Kolbeck, Lyle (Janet) Kolbeck, Verlin (Gloria) Kolbeck; extended family and friends.
