August 13, 1956 – March 27, 2025
Robert “Robby” Eugene Birkholm, 68, of Moose Lake, MN passed away on March 27, 2025. Born August 13, 1956, in Sandstone, MN, to Roy and Eveyln (Stead) Birkholm, Robby grew up in Askov, MN, where he embraced and embodied everything it means to be the middle child between two brothers.
Robby graduated from Askov High School as the class clown in 1974. In November 1977, he married Jody Sack, and together they settled in Wrenshall, MN, where they raised two daughters while he worked in construction. The majority of their time in the empty-nest years was spent enjoying Sturgeon Lake and sharing it with a community of friends.
Robby is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jody, whose sudden passing in 2017 left a void no punchline could fill. He leaves behind daughters Erica (Justin) Rubin and Rachel Birkholm; grandson Max Rubin; brothers Dennis (Carol) Birkholm and Brian (Deb) Birkholm; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
