In Remembrance

Michael Bruce Gibson passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at his home in Askov with his Wife, Daughter and faithful sidekick Paco Puppy by his side. He was 77 years old.  Mike was born May 2, 1947, in LaJunta, Co to Raymond F. Gibson Sr. and Brucella M. Spearing Gibson. He graduated from Carlton High School in 1965. Mike married the love of his life, Mary Angell on August 17, 1971. Mike’s journey of life was marked by his faith, family, hard work, dedication, laughter and love.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, Mary Gibson and his guard dog Paco, Mike was blessed and is survived by his children:  Brett (Tina) Gibson, Grant (Kim) Gibson, Garret (Angie) Gibson, Brandon (LeeAnne) Gibson, Anna Gibson, Travis (Katie) Gibson, Sara Bassett (Chad Christopherson), Lila (Jason) Reiling, Rachel (Chuck) Rhode, Darren (Lauranne) Gibson,  29 Grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren with 2 more coming this spring. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond (Amy Talarico) Gibson Jr, Sisters – Linda Angell and Annette (Roger) Rentola, Brothers-in-law: Dennis (Cindy Macaulay) Angell, John (Karen) Angell, Sister-in-law: Cindy (Blair) Nygren and many nieces, nephews, dear friends, bonus children and grandchildren he loved along the way.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Brucella Gibson, Mother and Father-in-Law Tuddy and Lila Angell, Brothers-in-law Tuddy and Donny Angell, Sisters-in-law Monica Gibson and Peggy Angell along with many other dear friends and family members.

The family would like to thank the entire Essentia Hospice team who cared for Mike. We cannot thank you enough and are forever grateful for the kindness, care, expertise, support and patience received during this difficult time.
