In Remembrance

I just found out about Ken's death today. I knew him as the book guy at Savers. He was such a bright, sweet, interesting man and we would talk books and what he was reading or had recently read. He knew the books I liked to read and always pulled some out for me. To say I was blind-sided by this today is an understatement. I have cried all day about your loss and it felt like a gut punch, which I am certain you are feeling every day since he's been gone. I wanted you to know that he mattered and I am so very sorry for your loss. I will never forget his kindness.

I just found out today from Ken’s wife Nikki that she and her family lost Ken. Hugs and prayers go to you, Nikki and your sons, and Ken’s family. I knew Ken as a daily Kwik Trip guest at our #572 store. I always looked forward to seeing his smiling face and his hello to me.. and chatting with him when he had the time! I have been missing him and today found out why I haven’t seen him. I’m am so so very sad… Our community and all who were touched by his personality miss him terribly. My sympathy and sympathy from the team at Kwik Trip 572 to all of you!
