Judith D Siltman
February 2, 1941 - February 20, 2026
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at a later date where family and friends can gather and honor her memory.
Private services will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora.
Judith Siltman, 85, Hoyt Lakes, MN, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Feb. 20, 2026 at Northern Pines Nursing Home in Aurora.
She was born on February 2, 1941 in Atkin MN, to William and Elnora Saastamoinen.
Judy was a bus driver and custodian at AHL/ME school in Aurora. She attended Mesabi CC and obtained an AAS degree. After retirement she worked at the Aurora Library and was a cook for Meals on Wheels in Biwabik.
Judy enjoyed cooking large family meals, sewing and gardening. She also loved going to the VFW Post 8144 Aux., where she was also a member, to listen to her favorite band.
She is survived by her daughter Tamara (Bart) Paine, Sons, Daniel (Brenda) Kemnitz, Roger (Deb) Siltman, Jr., Russell (Bonnie) Siltman, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grand children, her siblings Colleen Hanson and Doug (Ardell) Saastamoinen, many nieces and nephews.
Preceeded in death by her parents, daughter Barbara Haase, Brother-in-law Charles Hanson and nephew Steven Hanson.
The family would like to thank Dr. Whiting and the Staff at Northern Pines Nursing Home for the compassionate care given to our mother throughout the years.
