The funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s in Oak Grove on Friday, July 11th at 11:00am, with visitation at 10:30am, followed by a reception at American Legion Post #622 in St. Francis, at 12:30pm. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

I remember laughing so hard when we would take turns playing Flowers on The Wall at the Legion over and over (consecutively) for the customers. People generally noticed by the 3rd time it played. When it got to 6 consecutive times…we just could not stop laughing. The last time I saw Jesse along with Julie approximately a month ago…I played the song so he knew I was at the Legion. I will certainly miss his “I have a knife” and his skin tag cutting stories. Rest easy Jess; you are missed very much.
