Jane E. (Kauti) Forstrom, 82, resident of Superior, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Twin Ports Health Services. She was born April 30, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Delpha (Severin) Kauti.
She graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1961 and worked at Dee’s Laundromat in Duluth for many years and at the former Thompson Grocery (Kitchee’s) Store in Superior.
Jane was such a kind hearted and sweet soul. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Rhonda (Mike) McCauley, Duluth, MN; grandson’s Tyler and Corey McCauley, Hermantown, MN; and granddaughter Haley McCauley, Superior, WI.
Jane is survived by her sister’s Darlene (Ernie) Rein, Sharon O’Brien, Gail (Gordon) Abrahamson; brother’s James Kauti and Leonard Kauti Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lauren; her former husband Richard Jentoft; her parents; her brother’s Jack, Paul and Larry and her sister Shirley Archambault.
