In Remembrance

Gary David Anderson, age 77, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 2, 2025

Gary was born on November 27, 1948 to Beverly (Roland) and Donald Anderson. After graduating from Morgan Park High School in 1966 he continued his education at the University of Minnesota receiving a Bachelors Degree of Electrical Engineering. He also had a Master Electrician’s License. He worked at Minnesota Power until the Duluth Paper Mill was being built and then went to work there as a Project Engineer until he retired.

He is proceeded in death by parents Donald and Beverly Anderson, step-daughter Michelle Cheetham and great granddaughter Lainey Jacques.

Gary is survived by his wife Linda, his children, Meredith Wisniewski (Matt); David Myhre (Julie); Allan Myhre (Trude); brothers, Mark Anderson (Jan); Ken Anderson (Karla); grandchildren, David Myhre Jr.; Josh Nevels (Becky); AJ Myhre; Al Myhre Jr. (Kassidy Henry); Alisha Jacques (Coty); Brandan Cheetham; Peyton Brooks; Ella Wisniewski; great grandchildren, Dominic and Blake Nevels; Rownan Myhre; Anders, Brylinn and Millie Jacques; as well as many other family members and friends.

Gary will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his willingness to help anyone at anytime and his ability to fix things. He loved family get-togethers, traveling, giving grandchildren rides on the 4 wheeler or tractor, building projects, and putting things together. We have many wonderful memories.

A Memorial Service will be will be held at New Life Lutheran Church 4320 Haines Road, Duluth, MN 55811 on Friday, December 5th, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A light luncheon will follow service.
