A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where Gail was a member, 410 N Arlington Ave, Duluth MN, with visitation from 10:30-11:00.
Gail Ann Yeaton, 72, of Duluth passed away peacefully at Essentia Health Duluth, MN surrounded by family. Gail was born in Squa Pan Lake, ME. She married her true love Roland (Skip) Yeaton Jr. and they raised two children together. They moved to Duluth, MN in 1987 when Skip transferred to Lake Superior Paper. They bought a house on Park Point and Gail loved the lake and beach. In recent years, Gail resided at Bayshore Residence & Rehabilitation Center, where she continued to enjoy the view of Lake Superior. She was known there as a social butterfly and was said to be the most welcoming when new residents arrived. Gail enjoyed spending time visiting with friends and family and always had a story to tell.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband Roland (Skip) Yeaton, son-in-law Darrel Reynolds, and many relatives back in Maine. She is survived by son Michael and daughter-in-law Sherrill Yeaton; daughter Traci Reynolds; grandchildren Anastasia, Joshua, Jacob, Steel, Sampson and great-granddaughter Ava; and many other family and friends both near and afar. And thank you to the staff at Bayshore Residence & Rehabilitation Center who loved her dearly.
